A long tradition in Chilean fishing — Quality for the World

FoodCorp is a company with a long tradition in the fishing industry. From the Gulf of Arauco in Chile's Biobío Region, we capture wild pelagic resources from the South Pacific Ocean and process them at our Coronel plant for export markets worldwide.

The company

Capture, processing and export under one roof

All FoodCorp resources are captured from the rich and pure waters of the South Pacific Ocean. A select team guarantees the highest quality of our seafood for direct human consumption — frozen and canned fish, giant squid — and for indirect consumption through fishmeal and fish oil.

In its role as a leading company and one of the most important players in the fishing industry in the centre-south of Chile, FoodCorp has been particularly concerned with the sustainability of resources, actively supporting research activities and environmental improvements and working in close relationship with all stakeholders.

Our facilities are located in the geographical centre of continental Chile, in the Gulf of Arauco, Biobío Region — a privileged area due to the richness and variety of its marine resources and its strategic geographical position, with highly developed ports, a good network of roads and industrial and commercial infrastructure.
